Rebel Yankee Chick with a Cause!

Rebelyankeechick
Becoming a Yankee fan more than 15 years ago was part of my teenage rebellion. I was raised as a Mets fan in northern Brooklyn, but was offered free tickets to a Yankees game when I was in high school in the early 1990s. My friends and I went to a game, fell in love with the Stadium (not that difficult compared with the dump that Shea was) and crossed over to the dark side (as my uncles remind me time and time again!). As a die-hard fan, I read numerous newspapers and blogs for the latest team news. But most sports blogs seem to be directed at men. My blog is for female Yankee fans like me who drink beer and love baseball and not just cause Derek Jeter looks good in a uniform, but because we really love the game =)
